For one such event, the premiere of the Batman film – The Dark Knight Rises a special request was made to us. The production team required a circular stage to be arranged around the Statue of William Shakespeare and its surrounding fountain and flower beds. The fit of the stage needed to be close to the fountain without the possibility of the equipment causing damage to the flower beds or the precious fountain.
The Solution
Our modular, lightweight aluminium stage system allows us to design a unique stage system to cater for such specific design needs.
The Result
Using elements such as wedge shaped stage decks combined with more traditional rectangular decks proved to be an ideal fit allowing the positioning of a large oversize batman head to completely cover the statue and fountain to form a centre piece for the event.
