When Alistage was started over 35 years ago, the founder realised that he could not buy the components he needed fast enough to react to market requirements. As a result, he developed our own aluminium manufacturing facility.
Today, our factory has clients across the globe, from New Zealand to North America, South Africa, the Middle East to Europe and of course the UK.

Alistage have been fabricating in aluminium for over 35 years, and during that time have gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of aluminium access work platforms. Whether it’s a roof access systems for Kew Gardens, a bus depot maintenance platform for Alexander Dennis, or a safe working platform for the Nuclear Decomissioning Agency – we can handle all stages of the design and fabrication process.

Some examples of recent work:
Curved access tower
Designed and fabricated a bespoke curved scaffold tower with a cantilever platform for maintenance and cleaning of a historic glass lighthouses dome.
Safe access working platform
Fabricated a custom made working platform while meeting the stringent criteria and regulations required to give a safe working space to operators removing nuclear waste.
Maintenance platform for Thames bank wall
We were challenged to build a special maintenance platform to work on the river side of the Thames bank wall, in a manner that would not be affected by the changing tide water levels.

Our factory has been going strong for over 35 years. We manufacture both component parts that come off our production line year after year, as well as having a custom fabrication unit.
This means that our strict manufacturing and quality control principles are applied in everything we produce – be it tens of thousands of our market leading couplers, hooks and fittings, or a one-off aluminium work platform.
We are very proud to say that we manufacture all our products in Great Britain, at our factory facility on the M25 north of London.
Our central but easy to access location means that once the customer sends us the drawing, we can invite them to our facility.
We can work together if needed to turn the concept into a working bespoke aluminium fabricated platform.
