1.OUR PRIVACY POLICY

Alistage is committed to protecting the privacy of those who use its website, and takes the responsibility of looking after any personal data which you may send to us very seriously which is why we have put robust procedures in place to ensure that we take care of it.  However, if you ever feel we are falling short of this, have any questions or would like to discuss further please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

2.PERSONAL INFORMATION WHICH WE MAY COLLECT

As a business we may collect some information from you and this extends to and includes your:

• name and job title
• contact information including email address and mobile/ landline
• demographic information such as postcode, delivery preferences and interests
• other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers
• Personal Information which may be relevant to the services provided or products purchased

 

3.HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION USED?

We may use your information in the following ways:

• process a payment that you have made;
• process orders that you have submitted;
• to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us;
• dealing with product tailoring;
• to market products or services to you;
• to invite you to events;
• seek your views or comments on the services we provide;
• notify you of changes to our services;
• As we are a hirer of equipment, we may also use CCTV to monitor on site the safety of our equipment, if you are working with us it may be that we collect your image.

Alistage is UK based however there may be circumstances where transfers of information which we hold about you to countries outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).   Alistage may transfer information outside the EEA in the following circumstances:

(a) to any of its servers, which may in some circumstances be located in another country outside the EEA;

(b) to non-affiliated companies who perform support services on Alistage’s behalf, including those that provide professional, legal or accounting advice to Alistage.

(c) If you use our services while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU in order to provide you with those services.

By submitting your personal information and data to Alistage, you consent to the transfer and storage of your personal information and data outside the EEA as set out herein. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website; any transmission is at your own risk. Third Party Product Providers we work in association with: We may from time to time when we are short of our own products turn to various third party product providers to bring you a range of quality and reliable products and services designed to meet. When you enquire about or purchase one or more of these products, the relevant third party product provider will use your details to provide you with information and carry out their obligations arising from any contracts you have entered into with them.

We may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of some or all of our business and assets to any third party or as part of any business restructuring or reorganisation, or if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our terms of use or to protect the rights, property or safety of our supporters and customers. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

Alistage has put in place measures to ensure the security of information it collects and stores about you, and will use its reasonable endeavours to protect your personal data from unauthorised disclosure and/or access including through the use of network and database security measures, but it cannot guarantee the security of any data it collects and stores.

Where Alistage’s website provides links to other websites, it is not responsible for the data protection policies of such other websites, and you should check the privacy policies of such other websites if you have any concerns about them.

 

8.YOUR CHOICES REGARDING MARKETING

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us about our exciting products and services, then you can contact us and let us know.

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent.  If you believe that you have not provided us with this, then please do contact the Data Protection Manager below and he will happily help you.

 

9.YOUR CHOICES REGARDING ACESS TO YOUR INFORMATION

The accuracy of your information is important to us. We’re working on ways to make it easier for you to review and correct the information that we hold about you. In the meantime, if you change email address, or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, please email us at.

You also have the right to ask for a copy of the information Alistage holds about you (we may charge £10 for information requests) to cover our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Similarly, in relation to your information if you would like access to it, you can email us it and we can provide it in a portable format.
